Blogger Frustrations

Well, this sucks... I can have my blog as long as I don't try to edit the template. When I try to customize it makes me upgrade something... as soon as I do this the blog will not load. I can revert back to classic template and it works. However, I can't have my links and edit the sidebars. I've been checking this every day to see if maybe they've fixed it but no luck.

As far as stitching goes Tuesday I didn't stitch at all. Some days you just have to take a break! Last night I stitched on Fractal 20. Don't know how many stitches I got in but the total so far is 3,300. I want to at least finish the first page on this before moving on to something else again. I love the design but so many browns and dark colors gets boring after a while.

If anyone is interested in seeing the orginal you can find it on my site at www.brightstitch.com . Look for fractals on the left hand side. These are so stunning!

I thought I would explain how I count my stitches, not that anyone cares! I am a cross country stitcher for the most part. I just ramble around, but I do not like to venture out too far and I don't like to leave holes. So.. I try to finish each section before moving on to the next, and I always finish the page before going on to the next page. Anyways, I only count full, finished blocks. I always know I've done more than what I count, but I'm not about to count every single stitch! This is why the stitches finished is always a round 100 number. I have a spreadsheet that allows me to put in the finished stitches and gives me a percent done. I also keep track of the pages done and I use whatever of the two percents is higher.
